Quando le cose avevano l’anima
2025, 200x100x30 cm, PLA filament, wood, ceramic, glass, mirror, plastic, terracotta
The work originates as a reflection on the relationship between the company, Roser Adesivi, a producer of adhesives, and the territory in which it is located, marked by the earthquakes of 1997 and 2016.
Broken domestic objects – dishes, cups, glasses – become fragments of a wounded everyday life, preserved only by an external web of figures that holds the pieces together without erasing their cracks.
Suspended on a shelf, the objects appear at once intact and shattered. Deprived of their function, they are transformed into relics: fragments of a vulnerable daily life that survives precisely thanks to the network of relationships that surrounds and protects it.
